Project Description
This project focuses on the synthesis and optical characterization of colloidal CdSe nanocubes with tunable properties. The work combines wet chemistry, advanced microscopy, and spectroscopic techniques to understand and optimize the quantum optical properties of these materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Synthesis of CdSe nanocubes using colloidal chemistry methods
- Size-selective purification and structural characterization
- Single-particle and ensemble optical spectroscopy
- Study of quantum optical effects and photoluminescence
- Collaboration with theory groups for interpretation
- Scientific writing and conference presentations
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
- Experience with colloidal nanoparticle synthesis
- Strong background in optical spectroscopy or photophysics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English
